Just as the classical riding form is maintained across disciplines, the principles of a solid training foundation are the same no matter the intended discipline of the horse.
Behind Rockin Reegan Horse Training
Growing up, I watched my mother and father combine their skills and knowledge to train all different types of horses.
My mother had an extensive dressage background as well as 3 day eventing while my father was a lifelong cowboy.
This gave me a background with fundamental knowledge of several different English and Western disciplines.
This taught me that there is no one single way to get a job done and to approach every horse like the individual they are.
This has lead to a passion to continue learning and bettering my skills as a horsewoman.
